Fursuit Commissions TOS (terms of Service)
Applies to all commissions as of 2022
Please read carefully.
By sending first payment, you are agreeing to these terms of service
Minors are not able to consent to this TOS. I will require proof of age and identity before agreeing to work with clients. I am willing to discuss fursuit plans with minors, however, all details regarding payment and shipping must be cleared with said minor’s parent or legal guardian before I can agree to the commission.
Prices
Shipping: $75 within USA, $150 internationally
Head only: Starting at $390
Mini Partial: Starting at $450
(Head, Hand paws, Tail)
Full Partial: Currently unavailable
(Head, Arm sleeves, Hand paws, Feet Paws, Tail)
Exact pricing will vary depending on complexity of patterns and different colors.
Included with base price:
Fursuit head includes minky teeth (lower teeth and small upper fangs)
More complex teeth sets or teeth from outside makers can be requested (extra cost)
Simple velcro tongue included. Additional tongues, magnetic or poseable may be requested.
Velcro or magnetic eyelids are included.
Round plastic follow-me eyes (3 inch diameter) are default. I can also do 2-D eyes at the same price. I am happy to order blanks from outside makers if requested (extra cost)
Sizing should not be an issue with the current pieces offered, however, if you wear glasses, or are concerned about the size, you are welcome to send measurements of your head and hands to ensure a good fit.
Species offered
I currently work best with feline designs. I use a base pattern created by CorgiLegsCrafts and a handpaw pattern by KloofSuits. Patterns can be modified to suit your character.
I would be happy to work with any other species. I love to try creating new things. In the case that I am not fully confident about my abilities to create a base of your species, I will let you know, and give you the option to back out with a full refund (including deposit) if the base doesn’t turn out quite right. After the base is accepted, the normal refund policy applies.
Licensed Characters
I will not recreate existing fursuits belonging to someone else.
I will not sell suits of copyrighted characters.
I am willing to make a suit inspired by an existing character, as long as the design is different enough from the original.
If I find out the requested suit is an existing character not belonging to the customer, I will offer to make changes to the design if possible. If I am unable to modify the design, or the customer does not want to, I will cancel the project. See refund terms for more information on cancellation.
Resale of suit
You may sell the suit to someone else. Please do not remove any tags that may be present on suit parts, and please credit me in any sales listing you make. You may sell for more than you purchased it for if you include additional products such as character rights or artwork. If resold as-is, please sell for the same price you bought it
Payment
Payment will be taken through Paypal. I will require a non-refundable deposit of 35% of the project cost at the time of agreeing to the commission.
I’m offering a 10% discount if paid in full upfront.
I can accept payment plans.
If using payment plan, an additional 5% of the price will be added to the cost.
Price of payments will be calculated at time of sale. After the price of the deposit, I will expect payments of at least 1/3rd of the remaining cost each month.
The day that payment is sent is flexible, however, I will expect communication regarding the expected date of payment.
If a payment is missed for a month, I will pause work on the project until payment is received.
If a payment is missed for over a month and I do not have communication with the customer, I will give a warning and a deadline for the next payment.
I will be patient as long as the customer communicates with me, but if I can’t get a response within a reasonable time, I will cancel the commission and use what I have completed for a different project. I will not give a refund in the case that the customer stops all communication with me.
Refund terms are as follows:
Initial Deposit fee of 35% of overall cost is non-refundable.
After base is completed, before furring begins, I am able to refund any payments made after the deposit.
Once furring is in progress, I will refund up to 2/3rds of payments after deposit
Once project is completed, before shipping, I can refund 1/3rd of payment after deposit
After the fursuit is shipped, I will not offer refunds.
Repairs
If your fursuit arrives damaged, please inform me immediately. If the suit shows any damage due to a mistake I made in creation, please document it with photos and let me know. I can refund the cost to ship it back to me for repairs.
If you need any repairs later than the first week you’ve received the suit, I am willing to do it, but I will not cover the cost of shipping. Price will depend on the severity of damage requiring repair. If the repair is minor, I may do it for free. You may send photos of the work you need done and I can give a quote.
Shipping Policy
Customers will be provided with a tracking number immediately after fursuit is shipped.
I am not responsible for products being lost or damaged in transit. All products will be cushioned and sealed in watertight packing to ensure safe delivery.
Privacy Policy
If you commission me, your private information such as your address and name will not be stored or sold to 3rd parties in any way. Your information will only be used to complete and ship your fursuit.
Deadlines and Completion Dates
As I am still new to making suits for customers, I can not be 100% sure about how long it will take to complete your commission. I will be very communicative throughout the process, so you will not be kept waiting while being unsure of the progress.
I should be given about 3 month’s notice of a deadline to be sure I can get it done in time.
If you need a suit done in less than 3 months, I may accept, but I’ll require an additional 35% of the base price.
